Cowboy Riding Trail - £75

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful New Forest whilst riding cowboy style on your trusty steed.

 

What Your Experience Includes
Have a Rootin' Tootin time during this two hour cowboy trek which is a great experience for both beginners and experienced riders. At the end of it tuck into a sizzling BBQ complete with chicken, steak and beans. A meal fit for a cowboy.

After your safety briefing from the trail leaders it's time to get your hat on and mount your horse. After instructions from the head of the group it's time to ride off to unknown lands and explore the New Forest. Keep a beady eye out for the cattle and wild ponies roaming on the heathland. Once in the woodland you may also be lucky enough to spot one of the herds of wild deer that run through the forest. Meanwhile back at the ranch, the BBQ’s a cookin’, so with hungry bellies and many stories to tell it's time to head back for some hot food, hot coffee and soft drinks.
You're not required to have the riding skills of John Wayne, all novices are welcome on the trails.

• Minimum age is 12 years.
• There are no height restrictions.
• Maximum Weight is 15 stone.
• Fitness/Health: The experience is unsuitable during pregnancy. It may also be unsuitable with some disabilities, so please check with the centre before booking. If you have any medical conditions which may affect your ability to carry out this experience you must discuss it when making your booking.
• This experience takes place on selected dates throughout the year. They are mainly at weekends, in the morning, afternoon and some evenings.
• The trail is not suitable for spectators but friends and family can meet up with you for the BBQ.
• Please Note - The BBQ is not included in this experience between November and the end of March. 
• You will need to wear full length trousers and sturdy boots with a heel of approximately 2 to 4cm. You must also have your shoulders covered. If it looks doubtful, please bring appropriate wet weather clothing.
