Following an introductory briefing you will take part in your first low speed sail and your experienced instructor will explain how to stop the land yacht. Once comfortable, you will move on to a figure of eight course to master safe, controlled turns before having the chance to learn tricky manoeuvres such as a "gybe turn". Later in the day you may sail your land yacht on a larger circuit as you take part in racing and performance sailing. A fun and exhilarating activity, and a must for speed demons!

Group Size: There will be up to 19 other participants in your group.

This is a full day's activity.

Participants will need to be reasonably agile to get into the craft; if you have any concerns please contact the centre to discuss.
The maximum weight is around 16 stone (102kg) but as this is dependent on build please discuss with the centre if you are over the limit.
Minimum age is 16 years old to take part in this activity.
No previous experience of land yachting is required.

Limited selected Saturday and Sunday dates, all year.

We advise planning 3-4 weeks in advance. However, availability varies through the year depending on demand.

Sorry, you can't bring along family and friends to watch you do this activity.
