The away day package includes in depth briefing on flying and how to become a qualified pilot. It's highly recommended for anyone who is serious about obtaining their Private Pilots Licence as it includes two hours of flying, split into two or three flights.

Restrictions
Maximum weight 17 stone. There are no age restrictions however the minimum height is 5 foot.

Lessons usually take place in a Robinson R22 Beta Helicopter. All training helicopters have dual controls so the instructor can safely demonstrate and monitor the handling of the aircraft.

The 'Away Day' package includes: Pre and post flight ground briefings Two hours of flying, split into two or three flights. Commemorative Certificate. Lunch is not provided so you will need to bring your own.
