Learn to fly a helicopter during this half hour trial flight lesson. As well as enjoying the experience of controlling a helicopter, this premium pack also includes Cancellation Indemnity insurance and Pilot Notes.

 

What Your Experience Includes
Helicopter Flying Lesson 30 mins (Premium Pack):Your helicopter flying lesson kicks off with a pre-flight briefing by your instructor who will explain what each control does. Then it's time to strap into the Robinson 22 training helicopter and fire up the engine.

Once your pilot has you safely in the air you'll be passed each of the controls in turn to experience their effects on the aircraft. Watch your altitude, keep your eyes on the horizon... and don't forget to admire the views as your cruise at 1,500 feet above your chosen area. Then you'll return to the airfield to try your hand at hovering a helicopter 30 feet above the ground.

At the end of your trial helicopter flying lesson you'll receive a certificate to remind you of your thrilling helicopter flight. NOTE: This package includes pilot notes and cancellation indemnity insurance and can be taken at any of the locations listed.

How long does it last ?
Please allow 60 minutes at the venue including briefings and tea/coffee.
Airborne time is 30 minutes.

Height Restriction 6'6'.
Weight Restriction 17 stone.
Minimum age: 12 years (adult supervision required for under 16s on airfield premises)
Also excluded are sufferers of epilepsy, haemophilia or any illness or disability that might make it unsafe to fly a helicopter.

Public Liability Insurance is included for this experience.
As aviation requires good weather conditions, flights are subject to cancellation at short notice.
Consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden from all events.
Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be excluded from activities.

Please note that there will be a £15 surcharge when flying from Carlisle and Newcastle airports. This will be charged when redeeming the voucher.
