Sailing and Powerboats

For those of you who fancy getting out of the office for the day then this experience will certainly blow the cobwebs away. Learn the basics of sailing during the morning session and then anchor up and enjoy a yummy champagne lunch. Your afternoon will be spent either cruising back to the harbour or racing your way home - you choose.

A team event on the water can be as relaxing or competitive as you want to make it. With both experiences there is the option to tailor them to your specific requirements and so if you would prefer a cruise rather than a sailing day or to combine your time on the water with a meeting then please let us know and we will do all that we can to accommodate your needs.

These packages are sure-fire ways to rev up the enthusiasm of employees on a team building day, or a perfect way to remember and celebrate an important event like a stag or hen do, a birthday, or even an engagement or anniversary.
Whatever your excuse to celebrate, these sailing and powerboat days will certainly deliver on fun and entertainment, as they invite you to get some wind behind your sails and enjoy your time on the water. Something that is bound to cause lots of laughter...

Sailing Group Event Full Day - £199

These sailing days are available mainly from Hamble but other locations and other activities such as cruise events and powerboating, are available on request.

Enjoy meeting your skipper on arrival.
Fresh tea, coffee and a continental breakfast will be waiting for you.
Once suitably full you will be shown around the yacht.
Around mid-morning you will board and cruise down the river to The Solent.
During your time on the boat you will learn how to gibe, tack, hoist, helm and drop the sails. Putting all of this into practice as you sail The Solent.
For lunch you will drop anchor at either Osbourne or Newtown Creek and enjoy a glass of champagne with your food.
After lunch you will spend the afternoon cruising and racing back to Hamble.
You will have a choice of food from a gourmet menu and refreshments will be available throughout your day.
This package is available throughout the year.
Optional extras include - Conference facilities, team building, prize giving and event duration.

Inshore Powerboat Race Day - £249

Racing around the Kingsbury Water Park you and your clients or work collegues will get one to one instruction in Hydros, Monohulls and Catamarans. Get ready for some wet and wild fun!

Sample itinerary:

9:00 - 9:30 am - Registration and refreshments.
9:30 am - Welcome and safety briefing.
10:00 am -11:00 am - Introduction to the boats and hands on instruction
11:00 am - 1:00 pm - Practice session on Hydroplanes
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Hot Buffet Lunch
2:00 pm - 5:00pm - Formula 4/5 Catamarans and T850/T750 Monohulls
5:00 pm - Enjoy tea and cakes. Certificate presentation and mementos.
All required equipment, instruction, refreshments and a hot buffet lunch are all included in the package.
Available on selected days (excluding Sunday) from April to October.
Everyone taking part will need to wear appropriate clothing for the activities. All limbs must be covered and a change of clothing is highly recommended.
Suitable for groups of 10 to 18 people.
Maximum weight - 18 stone, Max height - 6' 2", Min height - 5' 2", Max girth (around chest and upper arms) - 56".
All participants must be in good health and able to climb, unaided, in and out of the boats. Unfortunately epilepsy sufferers and others who are forbidden to drive due to a medical condition will not be able to take part. All participants will be required to sign a fitness disclaimer on the day.
