This is your chance to experience gliding in depth. You will get the opportunity to spend a day learning about gliding as well as being able to fly a glider yourself.

Flying over the countryside with nothing more than the wind and the sky is a priceless experience, even more so when you have the chance to do it over and over again, which you will with the ExperienceMad range of full day gliding courses.

This experience wouldn’t be called a ‘course’ if there wasn’t some sort of lesson or training involved. So apart from watching the beautiful landscapes and listening to the soothing wind, you will have the opportunity to learn how to turn and manoeuvre the glider all by yourself.

Learning to fly is a desire many people harbour and there is no more sociable and affordable way of achieving it than gliding.

Available at several locations in England and Wales, this memorable day will start with a full briefing from your British Gliding Association instructor. Don't be surprised if you're asked to lend a hand with whatever needs doing as one of the great benefits of gliding is that it is very much a team effort and that's why it is such a sociable activity. Most clubs are staffed by members only and you may need to keep a log or prepare to launch other gliders while waiting for your turn.

Although the instructor will be there with you, you will be given the reins and any time spent gliding will count towards a licence, should you get hooked to this amazing feeling!
