Gliding Day (3 flights) - £189

Enjoy one flight after another as you sail through the skies with this fantastic gliding experience. Discover why this is such an absorbing sport and learn the skills needed for powerless flight.

 

What Your Experience Includes
This full day of gliding will really get you into the sport. Aside from doing around 3 flights (although the precise number will depend on weather and other conditions), you will be able to see other aspects of a gliding club, for example helping with the launches. It's a great day out!

How long does it last ?
A full day at venue, starting at 9am.

Choice of Locations
Nr Colchester (Essex), Rufforth (York), Sandy (Bedfordshire), Skillington (Lincolnshire)

Restrictions
This activity is not suitable if pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, or heart conditions. The maximum weight is 102kg (16 stone) and maximum height 1.88m (6ft 2).
You must be at least 16 years old (under 18 years need parental consent).
No previous flying experience is necessary.

You will receive a presentation voucher pack containing a voucher (valid for 9 months from date of purchase), background reading on the Gliding Day (3 flights) and details of how to book a date.

Public Liability insurance for £10m is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance for up to £50,000. Details are enclosed within the voucher pack.

In the event of your activity being cancelled a new date will be arranged.
