Glider Flights (with winch launch) - £59

A fantastic experience that introduces you to the excitement of gliding, and how to master powerless flight!

 

What Your Experience Includes
After a pre-flight briefing, you will be strapped into the glider with your instructor. The glider is attached to a winch by a cable, and in a few moments you will be airborne! Once the cable is released you will search out some thermals and then gently glide back down to earth. The length of the flight itself will vary according to conditions, but may be 5 - 10 minutes.

How long does it last ?
you will be at the venue for approximately one hour, but may be longer

Restrictions
This activity is not suitable if pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, or heart conditions. The maximum weight is 102kg (16 stone) and maximum height 1.88m (6ft 2).
You must be at least 16 years old (under 18 years need parental consent).
No previous flying experience is necessary.

You will receive a presentation voucher pack containing a voucher (valid for 9 months from date of purchase), background reading on the Glider Flights (with winch launch) and details of how to book a date.

Public Liability insurance for £10m is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance for up to £50,000. Details are enclosed within the voucher pack.

In the event of your activity being cancelled a new date will be arranged.
