What Your Experience Includes
Wimbledon is the most coveted title in tennis and you’ll see behind-the-scenes in this unique day including tours of the courts, the All England Tennis Club and the historic Lawn Tennis Museum.

Arrive around half an hour before your scheduled start to enjoy a coffee and pastry. Your tour guide will then take you in a group on a memorable and fascinating tour of the legendary All England Lawn Tennis Club. The Wimbledon tour takes in No.1 Court, the Picnic Terraces and Water Gardens with their great views over London, the Press Interview Room, Millennium Building and BBC TV Studio. Please note Centre Court may not be available for viewing as extensive building work is going on until Spring 2009.

The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum is open to you before or after your tour and you’ll see how a garden party hobby became the multi-million pound professional spectator sport it is today. Easy-to-use interactive touch screens and audio guides in 8 languages are on hand. Highlights of the tennis Museum include: a ‘ghost’ of John McEnroe right before your eyes; the tennis Championship Trophies; an unsurpassed collection of tennis memorabilia daring to 1555; a 200° cinema with CGI special effects so you’re right into the action of the most memorable and exciting tournament matches at Wimbledon; and the Museum Gallery with fascinating displays drawn from the Wimbledon Museum’s vast collection.

• There is no minimum age for this experience, but children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Champagne is not provided to under 18s.
• People suffering from mobility problems may find the tour challenging, as lots of walking and stairs are involved, but the Museum has good disabled access. If you have any disability or illness that may prevent you from participating in the experience you must discuss this with the centre before booking.
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue.
