During this experience you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of wine, how climates, regions and grapes can affect the growing and the taste of the wine as well as learning how to match wine to food and then sampling a variety of wines to put your new found knowledge to the test.

The days and theme can vary depending on which location you chose to go to but generally the intinery will be similar to this:
- You will be shown how to smell wines
- Learn how to taste and describe a wine
- You will sample at least 12 good quality wines

At most of the venues you will also have lunch included but it is advisable to check when booking.

Group Size: This experience is for one person but there will be other people taking part as well.

The experience lasts from 5 to 5½ hours, depending on location.

There are no fitness requirements for this experience.
The minimum age for wine tasting is 18 years old.
There are no qualifications required to participate in this experience.

This experience takes place on at least one Saturday each month, and occasionally Sunday, all year round.

We advise planning 3-4 weeks in advance. However, availability varies through the year depending on demand.

No spectators are allowed for this experience.

You will receive a presentation voucher pack containing a voucher (valid for 9 months from date of purchase), background reading on the Wine Tasting Workshop and details of how to book a date.

Public Liability insurance for £10m is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance for up to £50,000. Details are enclosed within the voucher pack.
