Enjoy a delicious two course lunch and guided tour through the grounds of the famous Swinton Park castle hotel.

England is renowned for its rolling hills and beautifully green landscapes and Swinton Park is a perfect example of this. It is a truly delightful location that makes for the ideal setting for a delicious, relaxing lunch. This experience is the perfect gift for a loved one or just a good way to treat yourselves and get away from your daily lives for an afternoon.

Once you arrive at Swinton Park you will be greeted by your hostess Susan Cunliffe-Lister, who was named Country Life Gardner back in 2001. During your delightful two-course meal she will explain how she painstakingly restored the entire area, including the parkland and the beautifully walled garden. Susan will also explain to you the garden's history and how the designs were made and executed. It is an amazing insight into creating the perfect garden.

Once you have finished your meal and discussions with Susan, you will be treated to a private tour of the garden. You will be able to see a wide variety of stunning plants, which can vary depending on the time of year that you choose to enjoy the experience. This is guaranteed to be a relaxing and enjoyable day.

  • Enjoy a discussion on the restoration and design of the grounds at Swinton Park
