Helicopter Flying Lessons (30 mins):The helicopter lesson starts with a ground briefing from a friendly and well qualified instructor on the controls and how a helicopter operates.
Following take off you will take the controls and fly the helicopter across your chosen location, perhaps the Chiltern Hills, the gorgeous South Coast or the castles of Northumberland! After soaring over the landscape you will pilot back to the airfield and try out some low level flying as you get to grips with how to hover the helicopter 30 feet above the ground!
Helicopter flight is a unique thrill and this beginners course is sure to make you want more. Following the lesson you receive a certificate from your instructor which can go towards further training.
Aeroplane Flying Lessons (30 mins):See the landscape beneath you from an altitude of 2,000 feet. This is a wonderful gift and the perfect introduction for those who wish to experience the sheer thrill of flying.
Following a short briefing on the ground, you will take to the air for some hands on flying!
Please allow 2 1/2 hours at the venue in total. There is also the option to fly each aircraft on separate days.

Maximum weight is 16st (as this is a guide please contact us if the participant weighs over 16 stones). Minimum height is 4ft, maximum hight is 6ft". Minimum Age is 16 (12 with parental consent),
Due to safety reasons, sufferers of epilepsy, haemophilia or any illness or disability that might make it unsafe to fly an aircraft will be excluded from this activity.

Aviation requires good weather conditions, therefore flights are subject to cancellation at short notice, customers are advised to check with the venue on the day of flight to confirm conditions are suitable. Consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden from all events. Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be excluded from activities.
Spectators are welcome however passengers are not allowed in the aircraft.

We brought my 15 yr old son the first drive experience for his birthday. He had a great day and his instructor Dave was very friendly and had a great sense of humour which made the boys in his group at ease. As we watched it made us smile as the 3 boys had big grins on their faces!! My only very small complaint is that we left Oxford at 6.30am and we were looking forward to breakfast but nothing was open at Rockingham racing circuit. But that never stopped a great day - THANKYOU
