Fly a Helicopter and Plane

Double the fun with both a plane flying lesson and a helicopter flying lesson! These lessons are the perfect start for any beginner looking to get their wings.

If you're struggling to decide whether a plane or helicopter is for you, then these combined lessons are the perfect chance for you to try out both forms of flying.

A qualified pilot will take you through a classroom lesson before both flights, something you will learn very quickly is that flying a plane and a helicopter are two very different things and so different techniques will be needed for each one.

Your time in the air will consist of putting into practice all that you learnt on the ground. Your instructor will demonstrate different manoeuvres and will let you take the controls if he feels you are ready and you feel confident enough to do so.

These are fun experiences that can be a good starting platform for anyone looking to take their lessons further and train for their PPL.

Fly a Helicopter and Plane - £230

Learn to pilot a helicopter and a fixed wing plane in one awesome combined beginner's flying lesson.

Learn to fly a plane and a helicopter.
Lesson starts with a ground briefing.
Introduction to the controls of the helicopter.
Take off and enjoy learning how to handle the helicopter.
Instructor will demonstrate hovering.
Take the controls if you're brave enough.
Next enjoy a 30 minute lesson in a Cessna 152 plane.
One on one lesson with qualified instructor.

Notes & Restrictions

Voucher valid for 9 months.
Full Public Liability Insurance included.
Flights subject to cancellation at short notice if the weather is bad. Spectators are welcome but passengers are not allowed in the aircraft.
Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be excluded from activities.

Max weight - 16st (guide weight, call us if over), Min height - 4ft, Max height - 6ft.
Min age - 16 (12 with parental consent).
For safety reasons, sufferers of epilepsy, haemophilia or any illness or disability that might make it unsafe to fly an aircraft will be excluded from this activity.

Q. Please confirm if there is any possibility that this combination experience is available for longer flights in both the plane and the helicopter.

A. This is the only package we sell for both plane and helicopter. If your chosen location has good availability when booking your day with them then there should not be a problem with extending your lessons for an extra cost.
