I have just returned from the air park at wycombe and have had a brilliant time, i cant say how much fun it was. The staff were professional and knowledgeable and showed both myself and family the best of care.It is to your credit that such a well run business has your support . Take your first steps in flying with this great 80-minute lesson. Whether it is curiosity or a genuine interest in flying that you have, this taster class will give you a feel for what is involved.
Private flying is becoming more and more popular in the UK and abroad with pilot licences increasingly sought after. Under the supervision of a qualified instructor, you'll be given a 20-minute introduction to the aircraft, including a thorough safety review.
After taking off you will take control of the plane, learning hands on how to control the plane and the basics involved in solo flying. Appreciating the sophistication of the engine and responding to weather and other elements are essentials at every level of flying, with your instructor happy to pass on this information.
Enjoying approximately an hour in control of the plane, your instructor will bring you back down to Earth to end your first direct flying experience. Following that taster lesson, few people turn their backs on the invigorating but practical appeal of flying.
Whether it's professionally that you wish to pursue your pilot's license or simply want to develop flying as a hobby, it won’t be long before you are back in control, enjoying the challenges and satisfaction of flying your own plane.

"Delightful day" From booking the experience to the whole day the service from Experience Mad and the team at the airfield has been second to none. I bought the flying lesson for my husband and he says it was the most fun he's had in years. He got a 20 minute tutorial before being allowed to fly the light aircraft for a full hour. I stayed on the ground and took some great photos of his exploits. I couldn't believe it was my husband in control of the plane but he did an excellent job. It was a great day that we will cherish forever.
