Aeroplane Flying Lessons (60 mins)

These flying lessons give you a whole hour airborne in a plane. Your expert flight instructor will explain the controls and dials and give you the opportunity to take control of the aircraft for as long as is safely possible! Four seater planes are also available if you'd like to bring a passenger along for the ride or for anyone exceeding the weight limits.

With a wide choice of locations across the UK you are bound to find a suitable location not too far from you.

These 60 minute lessons will include time spent on the ground, possibly in a classroom, learning about the plane you are about the fly in. Your qualified instructor will take his time explaining to you about what to expect when in the air and how the plane will react in certain situations.

Once airbourne you will spend an entire 60 minutes flying in the plane, enjoy the views far below and watching the world go by as you cruise through the air.

You will have the chance to take control of the plane if you feel ready, your instructor will be by your side the entire time giving you tips and helping you along, so just enjoy the feel of being in total control whilst over 2000 foot in the air!

60 Minute Flying Lesson (Standard) - £145

Soar through the clouds with this brilliant 60 minute extended flying lesson. Take to the skies with a professional and learn how to pilot a plane.

Flying Lesson in Nottinghamshire - £149

Enjoy the sights of the Nottinghamshire countryside as you soar across in your own private plane. You will be shown all that is needed to fly a plane and then given the chance to take control yourself, now that's not something you do everyday!

Spend time learning the basics of flying before you take off.
Enjoy a walk around the plane inspecting it with your instructor.
Once in the air you will have the chance to take over the controls.
Learn how to climb, turn and descend.
Your lesson will last for 1 hour but please allow 1.5 hours for the experience in total.

Q. I am over the maximum weight of 16st, can I still take part?

A. Unfortunately the flight schools are very strict on weight restrictions due to health and safety and also for insurance purposes and so I am afraid in this instance you would be unable to do this experience. Your best option will be to purchase a flying lesson in a four seater plane as they can take a maximum weight of around 18 stone.
