Three sessions at the flight club include a full flight briefing class, ground school and hands on dual-control piloting. This comprehensive beginners course aims to give you confidence in flying and your 3 hours airborne time can go towards your pilot logbook.

In the class you will cover:
- Aircraft safety.
- Theory of flight.
- Flight planning.

On the airfield you will learn:
- Getting in and out of the light aircraft.
- Performing pre-flight checks.
- What the instrument panel and controls do.
- How to start up the aeroplane.
- Taxi-ing to position for take-off.
- Take-off.
- Straight and level flight.
- Banking.
- Descending and landing.
