You’ll take the controls, learn take-off, landing and cruising with a qualified instructor as your co-pilot in a professional, full motion Boeing 727 Flight Simulator!

 

What does the activity include ?
This top of the range full-motion B727 Flight Simulator has been designed for training future airline pilots, and is the closest you can get to piloting a passenger airplane without years of training! Get take-off clearance, switch on the seatbelt sign and follow the runway lights until you’re airborne and cruising amongst the clouds! A qualified instructor is in the co pilot's seat to make sure you learn the mass of controls so you can safely pilot the plane into landing.

Your are welcomed and briefed by your instructor before climbing into the simulator cockpit. The take off scenario begins the journey, during which you will pilot the plane through a range of air conditions as well as a simulated emergency situation. You'll then have the challenge of piloting a controlled landing! You will be awarded a certificate as a memento of your flight. This is not a shared experience, therefore you will be at the controls of the aircrafts for a full 30 minutes.

What else do I need to know ?
Customers purchasing this activity will be sent a voucher valid for ten months. This is experience is for 30 minutes solo at the controls of the plane. Minimum age to take part in this experience is 16 years. You are welcome to bring up to three spectators in the simulator, but a disclaimer needs to be signed for children aged 8 to 16 (no children under 8 years old are permitted in the simulator under any circumstances). Previous experience is not required. Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be required to leave the premises. Participants will need to present a photocard driving licence or valid passport on the day, failure to do so will result in being unable to take part in the activity. This experience is available on weekdays only.
