Spend a day learning how to handle and fly Birds of Prey with this interactive falconry experience based in the stunning Yorkshire Dales.
Have you ever been fascinated by birds of prey? If the answer is yes, then this is truly the perfect experience for you. You will get the opportunity to get up close and personal with these amazing creatures and really learn how they think and how they survive in the wild. You will be accompanied by expert bird trainers for the entire day to ensure that you are completely safe during your experience and you get the maximum amount of enjoyment from the day.
Upon arrival at this excellent falconry centre in North Yorkshire, you will be met by your expert instructor. They will take you through the history of these amazing birds, and you will be able to answer any questions that you may have about them. Once this has been carried out, the real fun can begin. You and your trainer will take the birds out into the wild woods by the bird school and get the chance to fly them just as if they were in the wild. It is a truly exhilarating experience.
You will handle a number of different birds throughout the day including a buzzard, an owl or maybe even a hawk; it is imperative not to forget your camera!

"Birds of Prey - North Yorkshire" I bought this experience for my partners 60th birthday. Little did I know that when he booked the date (mid week)he booked me a place too. We received a very warm welcome on arrival along with a lovely bacon butty! We learned so much from the instructor and being the only two people there that day had a lot of time and choice bout how and where we flew the birds. A brilliant experience that we'll never forget!

"yorkshire bird of prey day" I had the day experience given to me as a birthday present.I loved every minute of it .The birds of prey were beautiful and impressive and it was very "hands on " I had'nt realised that I would actually have the opportunity to hold the birds and feed them myself (Golden Eagle,Eagle owl,and a Harris Hawk) and I learnt a lot about them from the very knowledgeable handler,it was all fascinating stuff. .Back at the hotel the staff looked after me very well and I was given breakfast and lunch in really nice surroundings. I would definately recommend this experience ,it is one that will stay in my memory for a long time
