Falconry (full day) - £139

A wonderful introduction to falconry, this full day experience shows you how to handle Birds of Prey and you even go hunting with the falconer to watch these amazing birds in action!

 

What Your Experience Includes
An amazing experience in the company of some magnificent birds of prey. Upon arrival in the morning you will learn centuries old skills in handling the birds of prey, plus get to know the birds’ hunting habits and the importance of breeding and conservation. You will then head off into the countryside for a unique afternoon where the birds will fly to the fist and even hunt at some locations. This experience is shared with up to 11 other people, depending on you chosen venue. A fantastic experience.

How long does it last ?
This experience will last approximately 5 to 6 hours.

Restrictions
General fitness is required for this activity as there can be a lot of walking involved. Some locations hunt the birds during the afternoon, therefore it is not suitable for squeamish people.
You must be at least 16 years old and under 18s should be accompanied by an adult.
No previous falconry experience is necessary.

Availability
This experience is available on selected Monday to Sunday dates, throughout the year.

3-4 weeks

Are spectators allowed ?
Unfortunately you can't bring spectators to watch.

You will receive a presentation voucher pack containing a voucher (valid for 9 months from date of purchase), background reading on the Falconry (full day) and details of how to book a date.

Public Liability insurance for £10m is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance for up to £50,000. Details are enclosed within the voucher pack.
