Falconry Experience (half day) - £85

This half day falconry experience offers an amazing insight into the relationship between humans and birds of prey, and you can discover the thrill of flying one of these magnificent creatures yourself!

 

What Your Experience Includes
This falconry experience will be a day you’ll never forget! The session begins with a tutorial on the history and techniques of falconry. You will then learn about the husbandry and welfare of birds of prey along with information on falconry equipment. Then comes the main event, a chance to fly a bird of prey to the fist, an amazing experience with the magnificent creature resting on your arm. You will share this falconry experience with a maximum of 12 other people depending on your chosen location.

Approximately 3 hours

Restrictions
General fitness is required as there can be a lot of walking involved.
You must be at least 16 years old to do this activity and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
No previous falconry experience is necessary.

Availability
This experience is available on selected Monday to Sunday dates, throughout the year.

How far ahead should I book ?
6-8 weeks

Are spectators allowed ?
Unfortunately you can't bring spectators to watch.

You will receive a presentation voucher pack containing a voucher (valid for 9 months from date of purchase), background reading on the Falconry Experience (half day) and details of how to book a date.

Public Liability insurance for £10m is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance for up to £50,000. Details are enclosed within the voucher pack.
