This is the perfect opportunity to gain the confidence and kitchen skills to prepare delicious gourmet dishes and mouth watering meals on this fun and highly educational cookery course. The day course at Swinton Park Cookery School is a combination of hands-on cooking and demonstrations from top chefs. A delicious three course lunch is also included for all cookery students.
The Swinton Park Cookery School is housed in beautifully restored Georgian stables in the grounds of this luxury castle hotel. The kitchen is equipped to the highest specification. The cookery school offers a range of themed cookery courses throughout the year. These include: Game, Food of Love, Dinner Parties (in 3 modules), Provenance Food (Grow & Cook Your Own) and Festive Fare. Each course covers vital techniques including filleting and boning, making sauces and breads. Students have the chance to learn to cook restaurant standard food using recipes adapted for home cooking. All levels of cooking experience are catered for, and most of the day is spent in hands-on cooking, with a demonstration or two to compliment your progression. At the end of the morning, a three course meal will have been prepared which will be served as a late lunch to guests in the Cookery School’s Dining Room.
