Swinton Park Cookery School is the glamorous academy that serves as the setting to this One Day Cookery Course. Here you will undertake what will be a highly enjoyable day of gourmet cooking in a highly hands-on culinary experience. Under expert tuition you will see your skills improve and your talent flourish, regardless of your previous cooking experiences.

With this highly educational course you will be treated to demonstrations in between your cookery sessions. The school, housed in restored Georgian stables in the grounds of this award winning luxury castle hotel, offers themed courses throughout the year, from Dinner Parties to Food of Love, Game, The Kitchen Garden and Festive Fare.

Each course covers essential techniques such as boning and filleting, as well as making bread and sauces in an attempt to adapt your home cooking to mimic restaurant quality, without the same ingredient costs.

At the end of the morning, a three course meal will have been prepared, which will then be served as a late lunch to guests in the Cookery School Dining Room. An experience gift box including a personalised voucher and message card is given and PA cover to a value of £50,000 plus cancellation indemnity is included.

• Swinton Park offer a variety of cookery courses including; Dinner Parties, Food of Love, Game, Grow/Cook Your Own, Festive Fare and many more. Each course will cover the technique of preparing the meal, giving you the chance to cook restaurant standard meals in the home.
• There will be a few demonstrations throughout the day, however; most of your time is spent with hands-on practical teaching.
• A tasty 3 course lunch will be served half way through the day.

North East: Yorkshire (Ripon - Masham)

• Voucher valid for 9 months for one person.
• Minimum age for this experience is 16 years old.
• Courses start at 9.30am and finish mid afternoon after a late lunch - the whole experience lasts around 7 hours.
• This course runs on selected dates throughout the year. Dates subject to availability.
• All participants need to have a voucher, however; it is possible for participants to invite a guest to join them for the lunch for an additional charge of £30 (discuss with the venue on booking).
• The exact itinerary of the day and equipment used will vary, please enquire on the day if you have any questions.
• This experience includes cancellation indemnity as well as personal accident cover to the sum of £50,000.
