Single Seater v Caterham at Prestwold Hall - £150

Now you can enjoy the thrill of F1 driving and also take to the wheel of a Caterham 7 in one exhilarating experience. This activity is only available in Leicestershire.

 

What does the activity include ?
This will be two drives to remember! The single seater race car has the looks of a formula one car and no instructor as a passenger - the ideal way to fulfil your need for speed! And if this awesomely fast car is not enough for you, you’ll also learn the best way to take a Caterham Supersport 7 for a spin on the track - take the racing line and improve your time! Professional driving instruction will allow you to make the most of these race cars.

You are welcomed at the track and receive a briefing from an ARDS driving instructor. You will then learn more about circuit driving techniques with four familiarisation laps in a demonstration car driven by your instructor. After this comes the moment of truth for as you sit behind the wheel of the Single Seater for 4 laps (7.2 miles) of high speed racing. Following this, you switch to the Caterham Supersport 7 for additional 4 laps. At the end of your day of speeding round the circuit you will be awarded an Individual Driving Certificate and full assessment from the instructor. The experience lasts approximately 2 hours.

What else do I need to know ?
When buying this experience you receive an open dated voucher valid for ten months. You are then free to contact the venue to book a time for your activity. Selected weekday dates are available throughout the year. Drivers shorter than 5ft 0” or taller than 6ft 6” and/or weighing more than 17st may have some difficulty in the cars. Participants must be 18 or over and must have a full UK driving licence for 1 year or more.
