Extended Caterham Circuit Thrill - £450

Learn to drive the incredible Caterham track car to its limit in a full day of instruction and hands on racing, as expert instructors teach you how to make the most of this vehicle on tracks such as Silverstone and Brands Hatch.

 

What does the activity include ?
Professional instructors will teach you how to master the track in this classic race car and you’ll see seconds drop off your race times during this extended full day experience! You will be a more skilful, not to mention faster, racing driver by the end of the day and know how to drive on a UK public track at an intermediate level, rather than as a novice. The satisfaction of steering the Caterham round tight and challenging corners and experiencing its unique power to weight ratio and awesome handing ability for yourself is one of the biggest thrills you can have behind a wheel of a car!

After being welcomed to the track and signing in you get an expert briefing and orientation from ARDS qualified instructors. They will explain the car, racing lines, track etiquette, braking points, and all the racing knowledge you need to confidently drive the Caterham on the circuit. Race cars are shared between up to three drivers. Tuition is given both in groups and to individual racers so there are plenty of opportunities to learn and put your new skills to use in the car itself! Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the event.

What else do I need to know ?
On buying this experience you will be issued with an open dated voucher valid for 10 months. Drivers need to hold a full UK driving licence for this activity. This full-day circuit experience operates from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Spectators are welcome but please be advised that refreshments, snacks and lunch are only for participants, although for a small additional fee these can be provided for spectators as well.
