Caterham Drift Experience - £225

Experience the classic Caterham 7 racing car in all its glory as you learn to drive, corner, brake and drift sideways on the track - the perfect driving lesson for this superbly handling car.

 

What does the activity include ?
This incredible light weight, high power race car has handling that must be experienced! The Caterham 7 will give you the chance to push your driving abilities as you progress to graceful slides around specially designed drift courses. Driving skills taught by an expert instructor also include steering with the throttle and learning to hold a slide. Controlling a drift on the race track is an incomparable experience – take the opportunity to learn how it’s done!

After being welcomed, an orientation and demonstration from our expert driving instructors will familiarise you with the Caterham. You will receive tuition including the essential drifting techniques for the Seven. You will be instructed in groups and individually. We guarantee that you will have drifted a car before the day is out! When the instructors decide you are confident you’ll change to a more challenging track layout designed to test your skills on longer drifts. There are four courses with the last track offering the driver new drifting abilities through multiple corners at high speeds! Prizes will be awarded for the three best drivers. Hot and cold drinks and snacks are provided as well as a light lunch of sandwiches, crisps and cake.

What else do I need to know ?
On buying this experience you will receive an open dated voucher valid for 10 months. Drivers need to hold a full UK driving licence to take part in this activity. This full day drifting experience operates from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Spectators are welcome but please be advised that refreshments, snacks and lunch are for the participants only, although these can be provided for spectators for a small additional charge. Although this activity is available to licensed drivers with all abilities, but please note it is more difficult than the slalom experience.
