An adrenaline-fuelled 40 minute aerobatic flight in the cockpit of a T67 Slingsby Firefly or a Bulldog military aircraft. A fantastic and unique flying experience, only for the brave-hearted!

 

What Your Experience Includes
Aerobatic Flight in an Ex Military Trainer 40 mins:This unique aerobatic flying session can be as extreme or gentle as you can handle! Your pilot will demonstrate manoeuvres from gentle rolls and loops to more extreme aerobatics like barrel rolls, stall turns, descents and vertical climbs. You will fly in a Bulldog or T67 Slingsby Firefly, both ex-RAF aircraft used to train pilots in aerial combat. The pre-flight briefing with your pilot instructor will ensure you experience precisely the level of mid-air exhilaration you desire.

This 75 minute flying experience commences with tea or coffee and a briefing from your pilot. Then take to the air for 40 minutes of aerobatic flying to remember forever! You will be introduced gently to the unique feelings and G-forces of aerobatic flight, before your pilot manoeuvres the plane through rolls, loops and turns which will leave you breathless! You call the shots and your pilot will give you as many thrills as you can manage!

Following landing and the traditional turf-kissing many first time aerobatic flyers engage in, you are awarded a signed certificate to commemorate your flying day

How long does it last ?
The duration of this experience is approximately 75 minutes including briefings and tea/coffee.
Airborne time is 40 minutes.

Maximum Pilot Weight is 17 Stone (108 kg)
Maximum Pilot Height is 6' 6" (1.98 m) except Blackpool 6' 0" (1.83 m)
NB Blackpool flights are either 1) Aerobatic Demonstration or 2) Non Aerobatic Pilot Lesson

Public Liability Insurance is included for this experience.
Please note that flights are subject to cancellation at short notice as aviation requires suitable weather conditions.
Consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden from all events.

Please note flights operate Sunday to Friday at Thruxton.
