Hold on tight as you whizz through the skies in this fast paced flight
What Your Experience Includes
Bulldog - you sit side by side with your instructor. Your activity starts with a cup of tea or coffee on arrival and then you are kitted out into flying suits with name badges, military bone-domes and gloves. Next it's time to get to know your aircraft with a safety brief at the aircraft in which you will be told about the cockpit controls. During your pre-flight briefing, lasting approximately 45 minutes, you will cover a safety/parachute brief, how to fly the aircraft, aerobatics and an introduction to air combat manoeuvres. You will also be shown a short video. Moving onto your personal sortie pre-brief with your instructor pilot, you will discuss your flight preferences and then it's time to strap on your parachute and take to the skies. You will sit side by side with your instructor. During your 35 minutes (25 minutes airborne) in the aircraft you will learn the following techniques:
- Take-off and `get to know´ the aeroplane effects of controls
- turning, climbing and descending
- Aerobatics introduction - as mild or wild as you want
- Student `hands on stick´ time (e.g. loop, aileron roll etc)
- Return to Base
After exiting the aircraft and your personal debrief with the instructor pilot, your experience will come to an end with your flight certificate being signed. Only now can you catch your breath.
