Take to the air for some thrilling formation flying in a Bulldog ex-military plane with an experienced pilot!

 

What Your Experience Includes
Top Gun UK (Weekends):The extremely manoeuvrable Bulldog aircraft were once used by the Swedish Airforce, and now you can push this unique military plane to its limit as you take to the skies with a highly qualified flying instructor! You’ll receive a full safety and technical briefing followed by a formation take off before experiencing incredible aerobatic flying, with formation loops just one possible manoeuvre in your half hour flight. You’ll also take part in tail chasing another plane, just like in the films!

Welcome at airfield followed by refreshments and kit out in a flying suit, helmet and gloves. Aircraft and safety briefing. Pre-flight briefing to include air combat manoeuvres, parachute drill and video. Reminder of safety and plane controls, attach the parachute and soar into the skies!

How long does it last ?
Flight time is approximately 30mins.

Maximum Pilot Weight is 17 Stone (109 kg) Minimum Pilot Height is 5' 0" (1.52 m) Maximum Pilot Height is 6' 5" (1.95 m) Minimum Pilot Age is 12 years old (under 16s on airfield premises require adult supervision at all times)

Other Information
Customers purchasing this experience will be sent a voucher valid for nine months. All instructors are either former or current RAF pilots and this is a safe activity, but participants must listen carefully to their instructions and complete a medical declaration prior to flying. The suppliers are fully insured for personal risks and pubic liability. Participants may fly the plane at all times with the exception of take off and landing. Please telephone the weather line before travelling for your experience as all flying activities are dependent on suitable weather conditions. The instructors are experts, but please simply ask if you would prefer to have a less extreme or aerobatic flight. Please note that timings are indicative. Gloucestershire is available year round.
