Take to the air for some formation flying thrills in a light ex-military plane, along with heart-stopping aerobatic stunts with an experienced pilot.

 

What Your Experience Includes
Top Gun UK (Weekdays):The manoeuvrable Bulldog aircraft were once used by the Swedish Airforce, and now you can take to the skies with a highly qualified flying instructor to push this fast and manoeuvrable military plane to its limit! You’ll receive a detailed technical and safety briefing followed by a formation take off. In the air, experience incredible aerobatic flying, with formation loops just one possible manoeuvre in your 30 minute flight. You’ll also witness first-hand the mid-air thrill of tail chasing another plane, just like in the movies!

Welcome at aerodrome. Refreshments followed by kit out in a pilot's suit, helmet and gloves. Aircraft and safety briefing. Pre-flight briefing with air combat manoeuvres, parachute drill and video. Reminder of safety and plane controls, fasten on the parachute and climb into the skies!

Flight time is approximately 30mins.

Maximum Pilot Weight is 109kg (17 Stone) Minimum Pilot Height is 1.52m (5ft 0") Maximum Pilot Height is 1.95m (6ft 5") Minimum Pilot Age is 12 years old, with adult supervision required for any under 16s on the airfield premises

Other Information
Customers purchasing this activity will be sent a voucher valid for nine months. All instructors are either former or current RAF pilots and this is a safe experience, but participants must listen carefully to their instructions and complete a medical declaration prior to flying. The suppliers are insured for both personal risks and pubic liability. Participants may fly the aircraft at all times with the exception of take off and landing. Please telephone the weather line before departing for your experience as all flying experiences are reliant on suitable weather conditions. The instructors are experts, but simply ask if you would rather have a less extreme or aerobatic flight. Please note that timings are indicative. Gloucestershire is available year round.
