Overcome your phobias and fears by conquering that 'creepy crawly' feeling. Get hands-on and discover the cuddlier side of snakes and lizards to amaze your friends. Enjoy the sights and sounds of rare exotic birds and animals before making your way towards the Discovery Centre to have your questions answered before getting hands on. Ask all the questions that you've kept hidden before discovering that the birds, lizards and even snakes are as friendly as your pet cat or dog.
As your fears are replaced by discovery you may want to spice things up by stroking the tarantula, although this is entirely up to you. Surrounded by the support of our staff your fears will ease away and be replaced by a satisfying sense of achievement discovering that it's fear of fear that's holding you back!
Your sense of achievement will be genuine with a commemorative t-shirt and certificate as physical reminders of the day you tackled your fears hands-on. With the rest of the day yours to enjoy at your own pace you're bound to take a greater interest in some of those 'creepy crawlies' that you previously shied away from or had you moving swiftly in the other direction.

"This did me good" I came across this whilst looking around this site and at first I thought it was a crazy idea for a day out and it is. I am terrified of snakes, even on TV they give me the shudders but I decided to have a go at this to see if I could get the better of it (okay there was a bet involved as well). It was nothing like I expected. The keeper doesn't try to scare you at all, just tells you about snakes and then shows you some. I actually held a harmless one and it wasn't so bad at all. I'm not going to say I like them now but I won my bet.
