Meet a Rare Species - £159

This is a fantastic opportunity to get close to a selection of rare and very special animals. Gibbons, Sun Bears, Snow Leopards and Otters are among the species of animal you can choose to meet as you go behind the scenes of this special centre in Kent.

 

What Your Experience Includes
Meet face-to-face with an endangered and rare animal species! You can choose between Gibbons, Sun Bears, Snow Leopards, Tapirs, Ottersor Lemurs. The animal centre is part of the Rare Species Conservation Trust, a registered UK charity which is focussed on preserving the world's lesser-known, endangered and rare animal species.

You are welcomed and given a safety briefing. Then you’ll spend an hour behind the scenes accompanied by a dedicated animal keeper, and you’ll learn all about one of these special species of animal. See where they live, discover the plight they face in the wild today and maybe even help feed them. A completely unique chance to get close to some very rare and unique animals. A wonderful experience you'll never forget!

Restrictions

• Minimum age is 14 years
• There are no weight or height restrictions
• Health and Fitness: Participants should be in reasonable health as there will be some walking around the zoo required. The centre offers full disabled access.
• This experience is available all year round.
• Please allow plenty of time to make your booking to avoid disappointment, as only one participant is allowed per day.
• Spectators are welcome to visit the zoo for a small charge, but cannot go behind the scenes. Please check when making your booking. Couples can participate together although both must hold a valid voucher.
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue.
