Is there a creature cuter than a Meerkat? We don't think so but find out for yourself with this Meerkat encounter. Enter their enclosure and feed them by hand as they crawl all over you.
If you’ve ever seen Meerkat Manor then you’ll know just how fascinating and fun meerkats really are. They’re cute, intelligent and brilliant to observe and what better way to get closer to these wonderful animals than with a Meet the Meerkats experience?
On this trip you can encounter the meerkats at close quarters and get into their enclosure with them. Accompanied by a trained zookeeper, you can see the famous hind leg pose and inquisitive nature for yourself as you get down and dirty with the meerkats. You can feed them from your hand and play with them to your heart’s content, but expect to be climbed all over as you’ll soon find meerkats to be very friendly!
This is the perfect present for any animal lover, or a great way to treat yourself and believe us, one afternoon with these little guys and you’ll soon fall head over heels.

"Memorable day" This was a really unique experience. I am a teacher and I organised this as a trip for my class following a wildlife project we are doing at the moment. can I first complement you all at Experience Mad on a really positive experience whilst booking this, you made it all so simple. Secondly, the staff at Broxbourne for making sure that the kids got everything possible out of the experience. Knowledgeable, patient and even funny. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anybody. Seeing one of these beautiful animals up close is a genuinely wonderful experience young or old.

"Wonderful" Our daughter is a total animal lover, rabbits, dogs, gerbils, cats, even a parrot. Our house is like a zoo. We thought it would be nice to treat her one day as we were in Hertfordshire staying with relatives and so I booked this. She is only 12 and although I had no doubt that she would enjoy it, I really had no clue as to exactly how much. She was totally enthralled, the happiness on her face was more than worth the entrance fee and she was mesmerised by the lovely zoo keeper who really made her day special.
