A fantastic experience for an animal lover as you shadow a zoo keeper for a full day and find out just what's involved in caring for such a wide variety of fascinating creatures!

 

What Your Experience Includes
You'll meet a wide variety of animals and get involved in many aspects of caring for them, including food preparation, feeding and cleaning. You'll also have the opportunity to help prepare for the zoo's daily events, and lunch is included as part of this wonderful day. Please note you will not have active involvement with the carnivore section (wolves and big cats).

Group Size: Your activity will be on a one-to-one basis.

How long does it last ?
The activity will last for a full day.

Broxbourne, Hertfordshire

Restrictions
There are no fitness requirements for this experience.
The minimum age for participants is 14 years.
No experience or qualifications are required.

Availability
Available all week (subject to availability) although weekends are busier, all year round.

How far ahead should I book ?
Please plan about 4-6 weeks ahead when booking.

Are spectators allowed ?
You're welcome to bring family and friends along to watch you but normal admission prices apply.

Public Liability insurance for £10m is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance for up to £50,000. Details are enclosed within the voucher pack.
