Day with a Country Vet - £149

Shadow a professional vet on a typical working day as they care for horses at an equine veterinary centre. A fantastic opportunity for any horse lover!

 

What Your Experience Includes
This experience offers the chance to accompany an equine veterinary surgeon for a day as they carry out their caring duties. Although there can be no guarantee of the day's content, it could include emergency or routine visits, lab work, watching consultations and perhaps x-ray or ultrasound duties.
This is an equine veterinary centre (HORSES ONLY).

Group Size: It will be just you and the vet.

How long does it last ?
Your day with a country vet will last approximately 8 hours.

Choice of Locations
Doncaster (South Yorkshire)

Restrictions
This activity is not suitable for wheelchair users or if you are pregnant. Please advise the supplier if you have any allergies, other medical conditions or if you are receiving a course of treatment.
To participate in this activity you must be at least 16 years old.
No qualifications are required to take part in this activity - just an interest in animals.

Availability
Selected Monday to Friday dates, March to October.

4-6 weeks

Are spectators allowed ?
Sorry, you can't bring family and friends along to watch you do this activity.

Public Liability insurance for £10m is included, along with Personal Accident Insurance for up to £50,000. Details are enclosed within the voucher pack.
